Selection Process

The staff at Snoqualmie Falls Dental has been through a vigorous selection process. They have all had significant experience in their area of expertise. Most importantly, they have proven themselves to be caring people.

Currently, between the doctor and our two staff we have over 30 years of dental experience!

This selection process results in an office that enjoys working with each other. This creates a positive atmosphere that patients notice and enjoy. It also results in a minimal staff turnover. Enjoy coming back to the office and seeing the same faces every time!

Sherry Baker - Office Manager

My name is Sherry Baker and I am the office manager at Snoqualmie Falls Dental. I relocated to Snoqualmie in August 2008 with my husband, Michael. I have spent the last 6 years in practice management at a dental office in Tucson, AZ. I also spent time managing a large veterinary practice prior to getting into the dental field.

What I love about dentistry is the relationships. It isn't like a large corporation where everyone is just a number. It is about getting to know our patients and their individual needs. I am excited about being part of Snoqualmie Falls Dental because Dr. Calderwood shares my beliefs in patient relationships. Working for a great dentist who is also a great person makes coming to work not feel like a job.

When not working, I love to spend time exploring my new surroundings with my wonderful husband. I also enjoy taking pictures, learning to ski, reading lots of books and crocheting/knitting blankets for Project Linus. I have two teenager step-daughters still in Tucson. I am also the owner of three cats and a brand new chow chow puppy named Bode.

Tanya Malo - Dental Assistant

My name is Tanya and I am Dr. Calderwood's dental assistant. I have been in the dental field for 17 years. I've spent most of that time working in surgery in a periodontal office in Seattle.

After being a stay at home mom for a year, I decided to return to dentistry. I missed the interaction with my patients. I am excited to become part of the Snoqualmie Falls Dental team. I like that Dr. Calderwood is family oriented and cares so much about his patients. I also love to learn the new technology and see how that helps make the dental experience a better one.

When not working, I love spending time with my husband and my three daughters, ages 14, 8 and 1. I enjoy supporting my daughters in their extracurricular activities as well as reading, photography and golf. I am also a team captain for the ALS walk where I walk in memory of my father-in-law.
