Selection Process

The staff at Snoqualmie Falls Dental has been through a vigorous selection process. They have all had significant experience in their area of expertise. Most importantly, they have proven themselves to be caring people.

This selection process results in an office that enjoys working with each other. This creates a positive atmosphere that patients notice and enjoy. It also results in a minimal staff turnover. Enjoy coming back to the office and seeing the same faces every time!

Linda - Office Manager

My name is Linda and I am the office manager at Snoqualmie Falls Dental. I feel so fortunate to be given this opportunity to work in Snoqualmie with an amazing doctor. I began working in the dental field 16 years ago as a dental assistant for two terrific dentists, until the arrival of my twins. I took nine years off to stay at home with them and returned back to work as a scheduling coordinator/financial coordinator. I love building relationships with people and have already felt what a great community Snoqualmie is.

I was excited about working at Dr. Calderwood's office because of the type of dentist that he is. He appreciates both his staff and patients and truly listens to people's needs first. The technology in this office is state of the art and Dr. Calderwood has a comfortable way at making anyone feel at ease.

On my free time I enjoy anything that involves my husband and my two kids, Reid and Brianna. I enjoy boating, waterskiing, running, hiking, shopping at Target, baking (which is why I run) and hopefully some more vacations to Mexico!

Marilee - Dental Hygienist

Hello there! I am a dental hygienist here at Snoqualmie Falls Dental. My name is Marilee (but you can call me Mary) and I am a northwest native, having grown up south of Portland, Oregon.

I have two wonderful sons, a fabulous husband, and two cats (they weren’t my idea, but I love them anyway). My family and I enjoy exploring the Seattle area, visiting Cougar Mountain Zoo, and taking advantage of all the parks and hiking around us. When my children get older, I am hoping we will make it to the mountain often for skiing and snowboarding.

I started working in the dental field prior to 1995, and since 2002 as a dental hygienist. Yes, I love getting teeth clean, but my favorite part of the job is definitely getting to know the patients I have the pleasure to serve. I am excited to work with Dr. Calderwood and be part of such a caring, compassionate team. FYI, Dr. Calderwood made me promise not to give any flossing lectures, so all you non-flossers (and I know there are a few of you) out there can breath easy!

Lee - Dental Hygienist

Hello, I am proud to announce I now am a member of Snoqualmie Falls Dental team. My name is Lee, and I work for Dr. Calderwood as a dental hygienist. I was raised in Issaquah and now live with my wife and cats in Covington. I maybe a familiar face to some of you as I have worked in this area since 2005.

I love to talk about my adventures in scuba diving and explorations by boat around the San Juan Islands. During summer weekends you will find my wife and I on a beach combing for driftwood, watching wildlife, or exploring small-uninhabited islands.

I have been a dental hygienist since 2004 and am excited to work with Dr. Calderwood and his experienced professional dental team. I am committed to a high standard of care and share this compassion for my patients. I understand dental sensitivity and will do everything I can to make your visit a pleasant one. Sara - Dental Assistant

Hi, My name is Sara and I am the newest member of Snoqualmie Falls Dental. I am so excited to be back on the Snoqualmie Ridge where I work with an amazing Dentist and staff. I have been practicing as a dental assistant since 2005. I grew up in the Snoqualmie Valley and have enjoyed working here where I see a lot of familiar faces. I love dentistry not only because I get to see amazing transformations but also because I value the relationship that you form with each patient. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful two-year old son, Chase. Together we have two dogs, two birds, and a cat. We love spending time together as a family. We head east where its warmer for our fun! We enjoy it all from Dirt bikes to skiing to just relaxing with friends.

Tanya - Dental Assistant

After several years of working in dentistry Tanya developed some shoulder pain from working in the same position doing the same movements every day. She has switched to front office work instead and now works in Seattle. We're sad to see her go, but know she'll do well.
